We are looking into the possibility of hosting an IPSC (not USPSA) classifier next month.  More news to follow.

The USPSA schedule at Guthsville Rod and Gun Club will begin the 1st Sunday in March and continue through November.  As in the past, set-up starts at 8 AM, registration opens by 10 AM.  An the match starts by 11 AM.  There is a $10 discount for shooters who come early and help set-up the match.

I'd like to ask that more local shooters get involved and take ownership of the match at Guthsville.  While I always appreciate set-up help I'd like to build a core group that can help run the match.  This will help prevent Isabel, Mike G. and myself from burning out and will provided continuity\coverage in the event that the 'regulars' can't make a match.  Set-up, registration, scoring, and stage deign help is all needed.

I have started to look into electronic Palm scoring for the matches.  While the technology looks interesting, implementing it will be dependent on routinely having the enough help available.  Using the software will require at least an additional dedicated registration person and enough setup help to ensure stages are built early enough to be input into EZ Win Score.  The advantage of the software is that the scores will be available by the time tear-down is done.

Please contact me if you are interested in getting more involved.

Eric Budd
